Shopping for Guitar Stuff:
First Quality Musical Supplies
- FQMS about has it all. They are inexpensive, professional and speedy. Guitars, tuners, cases, strings, polish, picks, etc.
Breezy Ridge Instruments
- This is John Pearse's shop and he stocks many great accessories and is partly famous for having invented so many of them himself! Definately take a look at his accessories. Also, JP strings are for my money the best going.
Luthiers Mercantile International
- Wood, supplies and tools for stringed instrument makers. The kit my dad is building was purchased from LMI. Frank Ford is now with them. That just adds to their cred if you ask me. Who's Frank Ford? Well, I'm glad you asked. Be sure to check out his indespensable site: www.frets.com.
Stewart MacDonald
- Everything for the stringed instrument maker. LMI and Stew Mac at two sides of the same coin. They are both fine companies. Stew Mac also sells kits. My dad just ordered one from them so he can build another dread when he is done with mine.
Buffalo Brothers Guitars
- Buffalo Brothers has a simply MASSIVE inventory of guitars. All the top names and they have perhaps the best mail order prices on the Internet. I'm amazed at all of the guitars I see being sold on eBay for more than what you could buy one new from Buffalo Brothers for. Oh well. :o)

Miscellaneous Guitar Links:
RMMGA
- RMMGA aka "Rec Music Makers Guitar Acoustic". It's a very old newsgroup. I feel like I know these people because I have been lurking for about the last 5 years. I great resource. If it's guitar related, there is SOMEONE reading it that will have an answer for you. Just be sure to search the archives before posting a question. Also, don't ask: "Which is better: a Martin or a Taylor?" :o)
ChristianGuitar
- This web site lists Christian Guitar Tablature from various sources. A great place to find the chords to that praise song thats been running through your head.
Guitar Site
- This site has more links than I could ever possible dream of listing. From country and western to flamenco this site has it all.
Acoustic Guitar Central
- Acoustic Guitar Central has lots of great articles and reviews. Check it out!
Guitar Notes
- Links, lessons and 'licks. Yep.
Collings Guitars
- I love these guitars. Brought to you by your friends in Austin, TX.
